At GLAMHER LUXURY HAIR we are fully committed to ensuring that every customer is satisfied with their hair investment. In order to achieve this, we are recommending the following tips:

• Please shampoo co/wash extensions before installations

• Shampoo once a week or at least every other week

• Be sure to use a sulfate free shampoo which is gentler to the hair

• When shampooing the hair, always shampoo hair in a downward motion to prevent tangling

• After shampooing, deep condition the hair for at least 30 to 45 minutes

• Always rinse thoroughly after both shampoo and condition; however, be sure to rinse thoroughly with cool water after conditioning the hair

• For best results, let hair air dry

• Although your extension are 100% remy hair, unlike natural hair it is no longer receiving nutrients from the scalp therefore hair must be protected. Since Heat is your hair’s bigger enemy, use only when necessary.

• Also, when using heat be sure to use a heat protectant or a serum

• HAIR CAN NOT BE BLEACHED.

PLEASE NOTE: Once you install hair and heavy product build-up occurs, you will need to use a deep clarifying shampoo to remove the product build-up.

HOW DO YOU INSTALL CLIP-INS?

1. Measure the weft against your head to ensure its size will fit perfectly into the sectioned hair. 
2. Then, find the center of your head and clip in the middle clip into the roots of your hair. It is recommended to clip as close to the roots as possible. To make it easier and to prevent the clip from sliding down too far, try pulling that section slightly away from your scalp to have some leverage, or simply tease it to create a more secure base. 
3. Once the middle clip has been clipped in, clip the left side and then the right, pulling the weft taught. The same process will apply for every weft.

HOW MANY CLIP-INS WILL I NEED?

One full set of clip-ins should be enough for you! Those with thinner hair may find that they will only use 5-6 clip wefts in their hair. Alternatively, those with thicker hair may want to add a couple extra clip wefts for ultimate volume.

WILL CLIP-INS DAMAGE MY OWN HAIR?

The clips are designed to firmly hold on to extensions without destroying your natural hair. It's like wearing a barrette or similar hair accessory! However, wearing them daily and or sleeping in them can cause breakage and or ball spots do continuous wear. 

CAN I WASH MY HAIR EVERYDAY AND BLOW DRY IT? 

You cannot wash your clip-ins with your hair. How often you wash your clips will depend on how often you wear them. If they are worn quite often, we recommend you hand-wash them 1-2 times a week.

HOW OFTEN CAN I HEAT STYLE?

We suggest ALWAYS using a thermal protectant and a mild heat setting. If you can avoid using excessive heat please do so. We want you to protect your hair. 

CAN I COLOR MY HAIR EXTENSIONS?

Yes, you can. Because our hair is 100% human hair all collections can be dyed. Just note that you should only use semi or demi permanent hair dye. You should never ever lift the color, only deposit it. You want to keep the hair healthy. Color darker, never lighter.

 HOW LONG WITH CLIP IN EXTENSIONS LAST?

With proper care our clip-ins can last 12-24 months! We recommend you only wear them one day at a time and do not sleep in your clip-ins.
